My PhD research is centred around developing a multimodal dialogue system for learners to practice a foreign language with in a virtual environment with key research being Machine Learning, NLP, Chatbots & Dialogue Systems as well as AR/VR and virtual avatars. It is funded by Science Foundation Ireland, Centre for Research Training in Digitally-Enhanced Reality (d-real).
In my BA and MA programmes, I studied Telecommunication Informatics and Bioinformatics.
