Karim Moustafa

Research Student
I am a PhD researcher with 10 years of experience in research, data science, software engineering and telecom systems.My PhD research focuses on applying machine learning techniques to cognitive mental workload field. My MSc research focused developing a mathematical formula for evaluating the performance of the scalability of parallel algorithms of Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) for petaflops-scale supercomputers. On the professional level, I have more than 10 years of experience in data science, telecom and software engineering fields. Currently, my professional work focuses on building machine learning models for solving performance and security issues in network and trading systems. My previous work in Etisalat and IBM involved developing, supporting and managing software engineering projects and business support systems (BSS) for the mobile telecom revenue management systems and bidirectional languages support projects.
