On Tuesday 24th September, as part of the AIRC/School of Computing research seminar series, Dr Ingo Keck presented a compelling talk on Matrix Factorisation And Its Application In Brain Imaging.
Abstract: Starting from the view of application, this presentation will give a short introduction to commonly applied matrix factorisation techniques in the field of brain imaging data analysis. After giving some background information on brain imaging, the topics will be principal component analysis (PCA), independent component analysis (ICA) and non-negative matrix factorisation (NMF).
