DIT AI Group PhD researcher Rong Hu was today awarded the Best Student Paper award at FLAIRS-23. Rong was presented the award for her paper “Off to a Good Start: Using Clustering to Select the Initial Training Set in Active Learning” which was written together with Dr Brian Mac Namee and Dr Sarah Jane Delany.
