On Monday the 19th of April Dr Brian Mac Namee from the DIT AI Group presented the talk “Robots Are Invading Our Lives” to students at Scoil Chonlais in Baltinglass, Co Wicklow as part of the SFI Speakers for Schools programme. The students explored the technologies involved in building and programming robots to do the dull, dirty and dangerous jobs in our world and were given hands on experience with some of the robots used by the DIT AI Group.
